About Tonto: Tonto is a homebred stallion. He was graded as a 3 year old gaining good marks. At 4 years of age he was backed and ridden and hunted for two seasons. He was also shown during his fifth year gaining many 1st rosettes and qualifiers and obtained 4th out of 18 in the ridden class and 5th out of 29 in the showing class at The Royal Welsh Show during 2005. Since then, due to a lack of rider, he has concentrated on his stud duties producing many quality foals, some of whom are now becoming known in their own right This year (2010) Tonto has done us proud producing 5 coloured fillies, 1 coloured colt and two bay fillies. They will all be for sale at weaning so if you are looking for a quality youngster to bring on for any discipline look no further. We also have some yearlings plus 2 and 3 year olds. This year we will be reducing our numbers and there will also be the added advantage of the opportunity to purchase mares and foals. The Stud always welcomes visitors by arrangement and usually has youngsters for sale. |
